Q: What do I get when I apply for an account?

A: Here's the deal:

  • 5gb of diskspace
  • 10gb of bandwidth
  • 1 addon/parked domain (+ your domain) (or a subdomain)
  • 1 mysql database
  • 1 email (webmail, pop/smtp)
  • CPanel web administration

All this, for free!

Q: Rules? Yes there is some.

A: Here's the simple rules:

  • No illegal stuff. (porn, warez, etc.)
  • You must be an active users. (I have logs, and I know if you registered your account and never touched it again).
  • Answer EVERY confirmation email I send to you.

If not your account will be deleted a week after my mail was sent.

Q: Confirmation emails?

A: Every now and then, I'll send you confirmation email to know if you're still alive and using your account. Answer it as fast as you can. You just have to answer it, you don't have to tell me the story of your life.. lol. That is just a way to moderate users and space on the server.

Q: What's the name servers?

A: Here they are:

  • ns1.picanahost.com
  • ns2.picanahost.com

Q: What's my ftp server address and infos?

A: Your ftp address is the same as your domain/or subdomain.
Example: My domain is alittlepieceofheaven.org, so my server address is the same.

Username : the same as your subdomain or domain again but without the extension..
Example : My domain is example.org, so my username will be example. (There could be some exceptions)

Password, the same as all your other things (cpanel, etc)

SOMETIMES IT COULD BE DOWN (not working, invalid password, etc.)

It is because we are doing maintenance on the server.

Q: What's the mySQL Server?

A: Simple as: localhost On the default port.

  • Username : same as your domain.
  • Password: same as your account.
  • Database format: yourusername_databasename

You must create a database via CPanel first!

Q: How do I access CPanel?

A: Simple again! your domain or subdomain/cpanel! example : example.org/cpanel It'll ask you for a user and password.
